Printing Cache Pages & Pocket Query (feature suggestion)

Hi Geocaching.com!

 

It would be helpful when I am on a cache list page like this

 

http://www.geocaching.com/seek/nearest.aspx?origin_lat=43.24495&origin_long=-89.3594666666667&f=1

 

to be able to select and print the (printer friendly or regular) cache

pages, from this page. Also, it would be helpful to be able to choose

an

option where the printed pages' clues are decrypted. Going to each

cache

page to print is slower and not as convenient.

 

This would make preparing for caching very easy!

 

Also, with pocket queries, can you please make the hint linkable in the

.prc file with mobipocket (palm OS)? the hints are in the appendix, but

are NOT searchable by GC # or linked to from the cache "page".

For the first part, you're asking if you can select and print multiple cache pages right from the list? That was mentioned by someone as a possible Watcher feature a long time ago, but nobody seemed to want it. It might be interesting to think about adding something like that to Watcher. (Drop by the geocaching chats sometime; it'd be an interesting thing to discuss.)

 

As for linking the hint from the cache page in Mobi, yeah, that'd be sweet. (It can take a minute or two to look up the hint... then again, I really ought to use one of the GPX->PalmDoc tools... in fact, I should get to adding the PalmDoc export module directly to Watcher. It's way overdue.)

No one wanted it? I sure would like it! I often use watcher to print cache pages. They come out cleaner for me than printing them from gc.com. Not to mention the hassle of clicking and waiting for pages to load while online.

 

Printed about 10-15 pages today from watcher. I was begging for a feature to print all of them without going to each one when I did 30-40 recently. I do this often before taking a long trip out of town.
