With the old map you can select the "refresh map" radio button to change from a cache to a smile. With the new map there does not seem to be a place to refresh. Quote Link to comment

There's no built-in refresh function like the old maps had. You have to refresh (reload) the webpage with your browser. Quote Link to comment

Besides, what does it matter why I want to do it, the question is "why was the feature eliminated?" Actually I know the answer, the maps were changed because the old system cost Groundspeak too much money. The new system is cheaper for them but we loose features we once had. Progress?
