+The Geo Chasers Posted January 18, 2003 Posted January 18, 2003 Ok...I have not received an E-Mail notification on the last two visits (last two days) on our newest caches, and also the placement on our TB. Is it just us or is anyone else having this problem? Did something change? We are using a hotmail account (no unusual filters) maybe this is the problem. Suggestions? Help? Thank You The Geo Chasers P.S. Just realized that a confirmation of an e-mail (through Geocaching) that I sent to Drat19 hasn't posted either. I really should edit these before posting....yikes [This message was edited by The Geo Chasers on January 18, 2003 at 09:02 PM.]
Jeremy Posted January 18, 2003 Posted January 18, 2003 I'm getting emails just fine on my end. Jeremy Irish Groundspeak - The Language of Location
+The Geo Chasers Posted January 19, 2003 Author Posted January 19, 2003 Just wanted to let you know I received three e-mails this am. Two logs and one contacting. They were sent and logged on the 17th. I guess they are just extremely delayed...hmmm? Thank for the reply Jeremy. The Geo Chasers
+arrowroot Posted January 19, 2003 Posted January 19, 2003 Today (Sunday) I received the Friday and Saturday versions (or possibly Thu/Fri) of my GPX file at my hotmail account. They're notorious for dropping and sitting on e-mail. I am Arrowroot, son of Arrowshirt. I have many names, you know
+The Geo Chasers Posted January 19, 2003 Author Posted January 19, 2003 Thanks to Arrowroot and Jeremy! I had determined it must be Hotmail. It is just strange because usually I get notifications within a few minutes of a post. I have changed my e-mail account (not hotmail) in hopes that this will fix the problem. Thanks so much for your help! Debby
