+MalikahsFriend
I am looking for someone in WI who would be heading to the western part of the U.S. possibly visiting ghost towns or caves. I am on vacation this week so I have time to meet someone to hand off the travel bug Alone in the Dark. Thanks! Quote Link to comment
+BlueDeuce
You might do better by posting in the regional forums, or even the local Wi forums but keep in mind that when it comes to travel bugs the journey is just as important as reaching the goal. Those five mile jumps can sometimes offer stories worth sharing. Edited January 31, 2012 by BlueDeuce Quote Link to comment

+Gitchee-Gummee
What's to feel bad about? It has traveled over 14,000 miles and has 6 people watching it. I agree with BD, another cache placement it should have so it will wander. More caches = more photos, more photos = a good life for any bug. Stories with placements can be good, too! A hand-off and long trip can, but doesn't necessarily make for lots of places to visit. I guess what I am trying to relate is that a straight-line shot to a destination is not always the best route to take. After dropping it (or handing it off), go ahead and put it on your watch list. Let it have 7 people watching. Quote Link to comment

Just don't limit the west as the only option. Hey I found a bug that could use a long distance jump. Anyone taking a trip? Quote Link to comment
+thehawkers3
Hey, that's funny ... I recognize this TB. I moved this up to Wisconsin this summer, box #64. :-) Quote Link to comment
+MalikahsFriend
Thanks for the replies. I haven't gotten any response in the other thread that is doable for me so I guess I will just drop it off somewhere and wish it well. Quote Link to comment
