+Cache Pack Posted January 28, 2012 Share Posted January 28, 2012 I'm use to my old Etrex Legend....now I have a new Oregon 450 GPS. Being a Premium Member in geocache.com. Would like to know how to transfer the waypoints to my new gps. Before very simple do a PQ, and download to my old gps. Anyways just a little more work to get the PQ into my gps. Thanks. Extract the files from the PQ and copy them to either the internal memory or if you have a microSD card stalled, to the card. They need to be copied to the [gps drive letter]:/garmin/gpx folder. If you have the memory card, you will need to create these directories first. I rename the files to something else and include the month and day so i know how old they are at a glance.
