NoFe2O3
I have created several *.img files in MapSource (using free maps, Above-the-Timber maps, and Garmin MapSource maps). I want to be sure I stay below the 4K segment limit of my OR450 when I load it up for travel to different places. Is there a way to look at an IMG file and figure out how many segments are in it? snowfleurys
I do not know about after the fact; however, MapSource does provide the number of segments and total size when it sends a gmapsupp.img file to the GPSr/micro memory card. Quote Link to comment
NoFe2O3
Yes, I saw the segment counts as I was making the *.img files. But I was hoping there would be an easy way to look at the segment counts after the fact, so I don't have to record it each time I save a file. But worst-case, I guess I could simply add a number to the filename, so I naver have to worry about losing it. Still, sort of a pain to have to do that... Quote Link to comment
+Cacheoholic
GMapTool can show the details in a matter of about 5 - 10 seconds. Quote Link to comment
