+Short Sightings
We will be going to Arusha, Tanzania next year for 2 weeks looking at the wildlife. We will be in a private jeep with guide and will overnight at established bush camps along the way. I am wondering if anyone has, I am sure of it, Geocached while "on safari"? Yes, I know that there are big animals with big teeth out there. This might also be a great opportunity to place some caches along the way. Of course, with the locals permission. The concern would be how to maintain it... Thanks! Short Sightings Edited December 30, 2011 by Short Sightings Quote Link to comment

+Carbon Hunter
Physical cache go missing very easily in Africa and are VERY difficult to maintain - I know - I have had a good few I have archived, and now rely on Earthcaches. Even those on Mission stations and projects seem to not stay for more than a year or so. I suggest Earthcaches - they work! I have a good few across Africa Quote Link to comment
