Now at Zero Gravity
I'm headed out on a trip with the 62S. I usually clear the track log when I start, then download the whole trip to Mapsource when I get home for reference. When I'm "out there", I plan to walk some trails. I want to save these trails as separate tracks, like "Maidenhead Trail", etc. How can I best do this on the unit? Archive everything before I start walking the trail, then save the track when I'm done? Here's the glitch: Track Manager=>Current Track=>Save Portion seems completely nonfunctional. If I try, it prompts me to choose a start point, which is one single point only. Then prompt, choose an end point, which is the SAME single point. What's up? In the past I've copied the whole trip to Mapsource and edited out and saved the trails, but it's a pain. What's the correct finesse? THANK YOU in advance. Quote Link to comment
+Timpat
I have a 62s and I simply throw any track I have created or saved from my hikes in the GPX folder. Then you can manage them changing color, show or not show on map, etc. Save them named as you wish, such as "Track 1.gpx", "Cat Mtn Yellow trail.gpx", etc. Quote Link to comment
