+FloridaFour
I've started a cache page for a letterbox hybrid I am working on. I left it disabled for now. Will it still "hold a place" for me, as in the 500 feet rule? The park it is in has little room for caches and finally just had a cache archived opening up some area.... hoping to have mine ready this week... Quote Link to comment

You could drop your reviewer a note, but generally they will ask you the status of a place holder cache page if someone else has a cache ready to go. Quote Link to comment
+Gitchee-Gummee
Yes, yes, yes... get with the reviewer. General rule is "first come, first served". If you are caught sleeping you will be out of luck. Nit-picky, but it is 528', not 500'. They are fairly strict about that. Exceptions may (rarely) be granted. If you have measured 500' from another cache, you should have a contingency plan. Quote Link to comment
+FloridaFour
I was rounding off when I said 500 feet... I emailed the reviewer, my placement is approved and she will hold my spot for a while. Quote Link to comment
