+Markwell Posted May 24, 2002 Posted May 24, 2002 Is it just me, or was there an announcement that the keyword search would be truncated to 20 hits? I was searching this morning for the remaining active Project APE caches and tried the keyword "Mission". I only got 20 hits and all were within the last 2 months (the newest 20). I know, I know, I searched on the user Project APE, but some of those caches have been adopted by other users, so they wouldn't show up on that search. Bottom line of the rant: While I know it will help improve database performace, I think 20 hits is a ridiculously low number of hits to show on the results of a keyword. All we'll ever get is caches within the last couple of months at best. I'd like to see thate upped to about 100... Markwell
+Jeremy Posted May 24, 2002 Posted May 24, 2002 It was written when there were a lot less caches out there. Jeremy Jeremy Irish Groundspeak - The Language of Location
+Markwell Posted May 24, 2002 Author Posted May 24, 2002 Wow. I can't believe I missed that. I thought it would have been a way to limit the responses and somehow improve the response time of the query. Cool job, Jeremy. 200 ought to do it. Markwell
