Howie Mandel is Alive !

I've released a few TBs and they all eventually have disappeared, or seem to have stopped moving. But recently the white jeep copy TB "Howie Mandel" that stopped moving 5 1/2 years ago has been dropped in a cache! http://www.geocaching.com/track/details.aspx?id=160148

With a short apology from the cacher who was holding him explaining that he had an ilness for a bit, and wasnt caching.

 

I dont expect those bugs to go on forever, but its nice to see one resurrected! I had also met Howie in person awhile ago, so its pretty cool.

 

Any other stories about TBs that turn up after a long period of time?

At least it moved a little while it was gone. 609 miles, not bad.

 

We had one coin that a cacher hung onto for three years, then dropped with no explanation. Total distance: just over 7 miles.

 

Some others that have been held up for a year or so, but that was the worst case. And we've had plenty that we've had to mark missing, I'd be just fine with them coming back to life...
