+hobgoblinkiteflier Posted September 28, 2011 Posted September 28, 2011 I just thought I would share a story about one of our geocoins, Rebecca's Garmin Visit UK - London Eye Geocoin TB2HKN8, which has successfully completed its mission. We left it in France over two years ago when we were there on holiday. My daughter gave it the mission to travel home. It headed over to Germany where it looked like it would go round in circles for ever, but eventually it crossed the channel and then worked its way up through England. When it reached our county of West Lothian, it was dropped in one of my own caches just a couple of miles from home, so I quickly dashed out and retrieved it. The coin visited 24 caches and travelled about 3000miles in 800 days, a painfully slow average of 3.72 miles per day. It's great to see it again Quote
