W4G_SOTAGoat
I'm looking for an Android/iPod app that will allow manual entry of multiple caches. A local event is going to provide the coordinates on paper and everyone will need to hand enter the coordinates. However, the app I use has no such functionality. I need to be able to manually enter the coordinates to all of my assigned caches at one time. Any help is appreciated. Quote Link to comment
TomToad
You can use the official Geocaching app. just go to the map screen and click the little flag icon on the top. Quote Link to comment
niraD
You can also enter waypoints manually in GeoBeagle or Neongeo. Quote Link to comment
geodarts
It is hard to imagine that a caching app would not include this. Ib addition to the Groundspeak app, Geosphere on the iOS has this function. There are also free dedicated apps like geosearcher that are designed simply to enter coordinates manually. +danhe5
Its in a bit of crapy spot but you can add manualy. Just select a random cache and navigate to it with your compas. Then pres the properties on your phone. You are able to choose: Add Waypoint. There you can enter coordinates to navigate to.. Quote Link to comment
W4G_SOTAGoat
Well, I have a Montana now so it's a non-issue. Still use the phone for real time updates and logging, but the Montana for the actual hunt. Amazingly easy to enter waypoints manually, also! Quote Link to comment
