+MEE&NEE
I am new to this and could really use some help. I have the 2 files for my query of local caches but I don't know how to get them onto my garmin 62s. I have just been using the send to gps way so far, and would like to get a good list loaded into my gps. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Quote Link to comment
+Highlands_Guy
I too am new to the 62s and it is so much different than my old Magellan Meridian Gold. One thing that I have figured out is how to get the Pocket Queries onto the 62S. I use Windows explorer and simply copy the files to the Garmin. Connect the 62S with a USB cable. Windows should pop up with the option box. Choose to "open folders and view with windows explorer" Then copy the files to the \Garmin\GPX folder. Note: The Pocket Query needs to be extracted first if it was delivered as a zip file. Quote Link to comment
+MEE&NEE
So, you can drag and drop them into the Garmin\GPX folder? That is how to do it. Quote Link to comment

Yes, That's how I did it and it seems to work fine. It is also described here (for a different model GPS) http://forums.Groundspeak.com/GC/index.php?showtopic=226579 Edited July 28, 2011 by Highlands_Guy Quote Link to comment
