+bostonmom
Help....I think I deleted the Cache library/listing on my Magellan Explorist GC unit. How can I get it back? Quote Link to comment
savant9
The geocache files are stored in a folder called /Geocaches/. Are you saying that the ones that came preloaded on the unit are gone or something else? The prelaoded caches are of little value anyway as they are stale and sparse. Quote Link to comment

+bostonmom
Yes, it is the preloaded cache listing. I would like to get them back if possible as there were some in my area I wanted to look for. Is it possible to get them & how do I do it? Quote Link to comment
savant9
Did you make a backup of the device at all? You can check your recycle bin on your computer if they are there to restore. At any rate. I backed up my GC. Here are the caches <---Click. Quote Link to comment

+bostonmom
I just got the GPS from Amazon, I'm still trying to learn how to use it. I was trying to delete a waypoint I made a mistake on & fumble fingers hit the joystick :-(. I still have to get a USB cable to connect to the cpu. I will download what you have sent, thank you so much for that. I have the free memebership at this time, do you suggest I get the premium? Are you located in California? If so, where? I'm in Valley Springs, about 35 miles east of Stockton. Thanks again Quote Link to comment
