Using a new name?

I'm still very new to geocaching and the geocaching.com site, though I now have 129 caches. I started out with the first part of my email address name as my name because it just turned out that way...I didn't know I could change it. I've been signing that way in all my logs as well...but as I approach my 130th cache I want to change my name to a name I will then always use. Is it possible to change my name now? How do I go about this on the geocaching.com site? Can someone give me some info on this? Thanks for your help.

I also changed my name but after only about 3 or 4 finds. (I kind of regret it now but that's another story). You can go to Your Account Details from your profile page. There you can click "edit" under Your Profile and then "change username"

In my experiments with a sock account I was able to change the name and change it back without talking to the frog.

Thanks for the link to changing one's name. I also contacted Geocaching.com on this matter. Unfortunately, the two variations of the name I wanted to use were already chosen...even though both had become members anywhere between 1 and 5 years ago...but neither listed any caches as being found. Darn...Oh well...I guess I'll keep my name for now. Thanks for your help.
