+Gregcottageduo
Hi all. I've been using a Garmin GPS60 for about 4 months now and while its really good out in the open fields, its very poor under tree cover. Can anyone recommend or have a device that is as good under trees as it is out of trees. Really frustrating loosing signal half way to a cache. +mpilchfamily
Any recently produced GPSr will work great. If your funds are limited then look at the eTrex Lines from Garmin. Any of them with H in the name has a high sensitive receiver and will work good under tree cover. What is your budget for a new unit? Quote Link to comment
