Ollycache
I was out camping with my friends yesterday (I had no idea what geocaching was) We explored the forests and found a UK Military Ammunition box! We excitedly opened it up and discovered what this marvellous 'Geocaching' thing is! There are lots of geocaches near my house and me and my friend will be off to discover them soon enough! Unfortunately I forgot to bring a camera for a picture but I will on my next trip, rest assured! Happy hunting, Ollycache Quote Link to comment
+mpilchfamily
Many good sized cache will use ammo boxes as a container. Look around the site and learn all you can. If you go to Youtube you can find some good videos on Geocaching. Some really good informative ones are done by HeadHardHat. Quote Link to comment

+Bundyrumandcoke
I have a ammo can cache I put out yesterday, and I am waiting for the interesting FTF log. The cache page describes the container as a slightly larger than normal ammo can. In fact, its a 155mm howitzer shell canister. Circular, about 800mm (2 1/2 ft tall) and about 200mm (8 inches) diametre. Really great pressure seal at the end, with a really good closure method. Quote Link to comment
