A positive report about the wait time for Garmin tech support

I had a tech problem with a Garmin GPS. I haven't called Garmin in about a year, and I remember that it was normal having to wait for about a 1/2 hour before I was able to speak with a Garmin tech rep.

 

So, I called Garmin this morning prepared to sit by the phone for a long time before I spoke with a Garmin tech rep.

 

I was surprised that the automated Garmin receptionist stated that the wait would be about 2 minutes. 2 minutes! I was shocked. I was even more shocked when a Garmin tech rep was on the phone line within 1 minute.

 

He suggested what should be done to resolve the problem. I followed his instructions and the problem was solved and I was off the phone with Garmin in less than 5 minutes after I dialed the Garmin telephone number.
