SNACKSrGOOD
Okay, so I found a geocache today and put a travel bug in it. When I logged it on the computer, I accidentaly logged the travel bug in the cache NEXT to the one it is really in. How do I change where I put the travel bug if I do not know the code anymore?? -Oh, and by the way the travel bug is called Whale Two. Edited June 6, 2011 by SNACKSrGOOD Quote Link to comment

Suggest emailing the owner of the trackable to ask what the number is. They will usually help you out! I know I would if it were my TB. Quote Link to comment
+FolsomNatural
Glad to know I'm not the first, nor the only one to make that sort of mistake. What I did was run down to the same cache and retrieve it just to record the tracking number. Quote Link to comment
+Gitchee-Gummee
Unwritten rule #1, make sure you have the # until well after you are done posting everything, and checking same. Don't rely simply on the mouse button as many times the finger clicks before the brain does. This type of thing happens often enough. Do it once and generally one learns to keep the tracking number handy. For your info, Whale 2 is already picked up and moving. To interfere now would be somewhat difficult (although it can be done, if you really, really need to). Quote Link to comment
