simmonsfamily954 Posted May 31, 2011 Share Posted May 31, 2011 I am having some trouble with my Garmin eTrex Venture HC. I live about an hour west of St. Louis, MO, but I can't download geocaches onto my GPS from the Chicago, IL area. I can download points fine from St. Louis and even ones a little bit out of the St. Louis area in Illinois, but not in the Chicago area. Any help or suggestions? I tried to use the search function, but I didn't come up with anything of use. Thanks for any help you can give. Quote Link to comment

+IBcrashen Posted June 1, 2011 Share Posted June 1, 2011 They are probably on the gps but it will only show caches/waypoints within 50 miles of your current location. Switch to searching by name instead. Dont have a etrex but try hitting menu on the cache/waypoint page. Quote Link to comment
