+Warturtle
I am planning on making some of my own caches very soon, and have read all the material (or close to all) about it I can on the website. However, there is one snippet of info I just can't seem to find. Is there anything like this; a list of which government agencies that deal with land allow and don't allow geocaches. For example: NFS, NPS, Department of Agriculture, BLM? Quote Link to comment

+briansnat
NPS (National Parks, etc) - Generally does not allow caches, but a recent rule change allowed local superintendents to make the call. Some have said yes. BLM - Generally allows caches. There are a few areas with restrictions but most BLM lands are open to caching without restriction. Fish and Wildlife Service (National Wildlife Refuges) - No geocaching allowed. US Forest Service (National Forests, etc.) - generally geocaching friendly but some national forests require permits. Most (but not all) wilderness areas do not allow caching. Army Corps of Engineers - Generally geocaching friendly Quote Link to comment
