+brettd Posted December 14, 2002 Posted December 14, 2002 When looking at a cache page, I see the number of caches found for each logging geocacher. I always assumed this to be the current number, rather than the number at the time they logged the cache. However, I notice that if I visit different cache pages, the numbers for various cachers change - including my own numbers. Refreshing does not seem to help. Is this a bug or do any of you have an explanation why I am experiencing this? -Brett
+sbukosky Posted December 14, 2002 Posted December 14, 2002 They only refresh when a new log is made. Saves on the server's processor time or something like that. It's a recent change Jeremy made and talked about it elsewhere. Check the announcements. Steve Bukosky N9BGH Waukesha Wisconsin
+Markwell Posted December 15, 2002 Posted December 15, 2002 ...or if the cache page is significantly changed. Notice on the bottom of the cache page (above the logs) it states: Cache find counts are based on the last time the page generated. Markwell Chicago Geocaching
