+cadtenchy
As a new owner of the Garmin 62S, the karabiner attachment supplied with it doesn't look ideal to me. I can see that flapping around bashing into me all the time when not handholding it (which I'll be doing a lot when trekking, and yomping between caches). What do you guys use for yours? I used to have a small rucksack mounted zip pouch for the Geko, but the 62 is enormous compared. A friend has the 60CSX and he has a nice button thing on the back of that that clips mechanically into a belt fixing. Quote Link to comment
MtnHermit
You can use a Garmin Belt Clip, very well made and priced right. However, my Colorado hit the ground more times using it than my preferred Fastek clip ( a variation on the carabiner). Care is required in attaching the button to the belt clip, any mistake and your GPS will hit the ground. The belt clip uses the universal sliding mount of all the recent Garmin's, (CO, OR, DK, 62/78). Quote Link to comment
