+Fireman78
I am new to Geocaching, and I have a quick question::: Someone placed a Travelbug in my cache, it's headed to Michigan from Washington. I am planning on going to Missouri in one week.I thought I could help it out by getting it a little closer to its goal.. Is it appropriate to take a TB from my own cache? Thanks. +worldtraveler
The guideline (as you've already discerned) is to help the bug accomplish its mission within the confines determined by its owner. As the cache owner, you're not violating any rules of etiquette by grabbing the bug. Just make sure you don't violate any "rules of movement" the bug may have. Some owners don't want their bugs to fly; others don't want them to cross more than one state border before stopping in a cache. Many (most?) have no restrictions. Worldtraveler Quote Link to comment
