+Ambrosia
Oh, goodness. I have a hard enough time finding caches in the summer, let alone under feet of snow! Quote Link to comment
+SSO JOAT
Re the clothing stuff... forget anything cotton, especially blue jeans!!! Polarfleece is by far the best thing you can put against your skin. Wool is fine for socks, but not much else (plus it is far too expensive). A set of light polarfleece base layer with a wind-block polarfleece outer and you're all set. Quote Link to comment
+Coldgears
I'm surprised how many people just keep on caching. Me personally? I stop dramatically. I wanted to go to a nearby park yesterday and when I walked outside in 30 degree weather I thought it would be better just to do urban caching. But, even that was hard to do, I had 3 DNF's because it took more then 5 minutes of freezing cold weather. It didn't help I didn't bring a coat though. Quote Link to comment
