The 4Gs
Yesterday we found lucky number 13 our first FTF But now we want to hide a cache or two: The caches are hiden The clues well thought out (I think anyways) The co-ordinates are correct And I have filled in the online form completely - and submitted But now I wait We have two caches waiting for a reviewer (for 3 days now) And we have had no communication from anyone I was just wondering if there was supposed to be something else that I was meant to do As this is our first hide - is there a process that needs to be followed to be recognised I know of someone who hid a cache in our area at about the same time as we did (the cache we got our first FTF at) and his was up and running quickly - although he owns 44 caches already Your help will be most apprecaited TG (The 4Gs) Quote Link to comment

There may be a note from the reviewer. Did you check the box that states the cache is ready? Without this the reviewer won't see the listing. Did you check your spam folder? Maybe the reviewer sent you an email and it got mis-directed. As for the process, I'm sure you read the guidelines, maybe even twice. You after all checked the box that said you did. Did you read the knowledge book section on hiding a cache? Quote Link to comment

Yes - as this was our first hide - I read everything (and I mean everything :-) ) I also placed check the 3 boxes I needed to And I just doubled checked now to confirmed and resubmitted But I have done nothing different to what I did previously I have also received the standard computer generated email stating my cache is "in the system" Guess I need to learn patience and just wait another day or 2 Quote Link to comment
+vickyth
I wouldn't worry. Sometimes reviewers have things going on in their lives that decrease their ability to get geocaching stuff done. They're volunteers, after all. Patience, grasshopper. It'll happen and you'll have fun watching the logs when it does! Cheers! Vicky Quote Link to comment
