tag gone, what now

I have a travel bug that has been out there awhile. i just found out that in its last host cache it was found without its tag or chain.

 

Now what ideas:

1)send copy tag to lastest finder

2)make up an unofficial tag and send to finder.

3) i have another set of tags that have not been activated> can i archive or delete old tags and transfer new tag to existing bug.

 

Any ideas.

I would make a photocopy of the copy tag, then send the copy tag to the cache owner so they can attach it to the item. aDon't use the chain if possible, the zip ties work much better and can't fall off.
