Guest Markwell Posted January 19, 2002 Share Posted January 19, 2002 You didn't state where you're starting your bug from, which would make a difference if you're looking to have the goal be going a certain place. I'd say it could come to Chicago to try to put out the Chicago Fire or to try follow the path along the route of the Olympic Torch and end up in Salt Lake City, but I'm not sure where you're starting from. Another option that my wife just had personal experience in: Fire Stations are publically owned. Unless it is a volunteer fire station and is manned only by one person, OR unless everyone is out on a fire call (at least according to my wife) they cannot refuse a tour to any individuals. You could use that in the bug's goals - to visit local firehouses and get stats (zip code, number of engines and firemen, years in existence, volunteer or full time positions, etc.).
