I need help with Lowrance!

I'm very new to geocaching. Bought Lowrance Endurance Out&Back and I'm so frustrated! Finally figured out how to get the cache listing to the gps, but I'm still stuck...

 

I see the list of caches but when I touch for description and recent logs, the screen is blank. Why can't I see the description and recent logs?

 

Where is the compass? I thought this had a compass feature...

 

Also, how do I separte my Pocket Queries in the cache list? When I try to filter the list, it doesn't give me the option to filter by location or by the separate queries I did when I did the pocket queriess.

 

The map on my BB was sooo much more detailed than the map on the Lowrance, should it be set to a different setting? Or is the lack of detail just the way it is?

 

Any help would be much appreciated.

Lets see if we can get this figured out for you.

 

When you copied over the PQ GPX file did you copy over both of the unzipped files or just the geocache file?

 

How did you copy these files into the Endura Out&Back, did you drag and drop them directly into the Endura or did you use some other program?

 

If you copied over the waypoints files over it will not include the description and recent logs?

 

The Out&Back has a satellite driven compass, so it will only show you your direction of travel when you are moving. This unit also has a very basic basemap, which will show you major features and roads. There are more detailed maps that can be purchased.
