+bucklanddj
I dropped off a TB while on vacation and now I'm not sure how to log and let the owner know its not in my possession any more. Quote Link to comment
+BlueDeuce
Typically you Drop it along with you Found it log. If you have already logged the cache post a Note on the cache page and before you hit submit scroll down to the bottom of the page and select the bug to be dropped. +Gitchee-Gummee
Are you talking about Willy The Purple Cat? If so, it is still in your inventory. You need to return (online) to BC Parks GeoRush 2008 - Haynes Point (GC1E6C9). You can log a "note" log mentioning that you are placing a TB, scroll to the bottom of the page and highlight the named TB, [submit] the log. When you do that, the TB is inventoried to the cache and the TB owner receives an automatically generated email that the traveler is placed, accompanied by the log and cache info. As a side note, when taking a traveler from a cache, you should use a "retrieved from...." log, instead of a "grab". Moving travelers can be a little tricky. For help, read this about trackables from the geocaching Knowledge Books: http://support.Groundspeak.com/index.php?p....book&id=10 Good luck, and many caching returns. Quote Link to comment
