Is there a way to see a 160m circle on the map page to show me if there is any caches in the area.

Zoom out & approximate from the scale in the bottom corner.

 

Go to the Geocaches page, sorted by distance. Each one, as you select it, will show the distance to that cache from your current position.

I thought there was a way to set a circle on the map page. And as you walk you can see if a cache is within the circle.

Doing it this way you have to switch back and forth between logged and not logged caches.

I've never seen such a feature.

There was discussion of how to create target circles around the caches of a determined distance. It takes some work in Topo as well as editing an external file to make this happen.

 

There was not a way to put an active distance circle around the location cursor.
