clever_lane
i just have a quick question about hunting abroad. i'm leaving for nijmegen in the netherlands in less than a month and want to bring a geo coin with me from Canada when i go... i'm not necessarily going to be having a postal code or address when i'm there, to search from (due to my visit being military related) because of this, what is the best way to find areas to cache in before i leave? thank you for your help. +Chokecherry
Sometimes I'll look for a postal code near where I'm going to be find a cache in the area and then look at the map (zooming out more and more). Quote Link to comment
+BlueDeuce
Well, if you know where you are going to be you can get the lat/long coordinates online and look up the nearest caches. If you don't know where you are going to be you'll need a gps and look up the caches then. Quote Link to comment
+tomfuller & Quill
Checked online, Nijmegan is at 51*50'N 05*52'E. Don't forget to change the W to an E when you do the lat/long search. Most of the caches larger than micro in the area seem to be multis. One regular cache that I noticed was Kongie #6 (GC73ED). Hope this helps. Quote Link to comment
+Markwell
You can type in the name of the city and country in the address line on the seek page and it will give you the spot. I typed in "Nijmegan, Netherlands" with a radius of 10 miles and got these results. Edited June 20, 2010 by Markwell Quote Link to comment
