Searching caches on magellan GC

I am wondering if there is a way to search for caches near a location on the GC. For instance, I am at home now and want to see what is by work. Is there a way to find them other than knowing a name or chache number or panning the map?

 

Would love to just put something in and have the GPS tell me so that I can plan things out without the computer.

Yes, you can do this.

Go to the "Tools" menu, then click "Settings", scroll down and click GPS, choose "GPS Off", then move down and click "Set GPS Position". There you have the choice of "Point on a Map" or "Coordinates." "Point on a Map" lets you scroll to the position you want, or enter the coordinates in "Coordinates."

 

After this, the Geocache menu will list them closest to the point you choose.
