Bolivar Bill
There are a couple of local "Geotrails" That give you a geocoin when you complete a series of caches. I was wondering how common that is- links? http://enchantedmountains.com/trails/geotr...estern-new-york http://www.alleghenygeotrail.com/ Quote Link to comment
+BulldogBlitz
texas parks and wildlife ran one december/january this past winter for those of us in central texas. geocoins to the first 100 successful as a test to see how it'd work out for them. now, they've rolled it out to the TPWD parks around houston (i think coins to the first 25) and the parks around Dallas (again, coins to the first 25). i hadn't gotten our gps until january when the first round was almost over, so we didn't get to participate. i've heard it went really well and the coins they gave out are really sharp (i did see one at a recent event). They're all on one road, and the last one, #60, is full of personal collector pins for those few that make it all the way. Quote Link to comment

Here are a couple in our area http://friendsofchesapeakegateways.org/pro...s/ssb_geotrail/ http://www.mdmunicipal.org/programs/geocache.cfm http://www.pgparks.com/page2313.aspx http://www.dcr.virginia.gov/state_parks/geocachegame.shtml There are more in the works too Quote Link to comment
