I found the location, but where the disk should be, there is a telltale grout circle, with a cross shaped nail in the middle. Would this be considered a "found" or "not found". I left a note with pictures for the log, but wasn't sure if I should log it as "found" since the disk was gone. AC6338 Quote Link to comment
Snipe33 Posted November 1, 2003 Share Posted November 1, 2003 You could email the lady at NGS that handles destroyed bench marks. I found a benchmark that had the entire cement base dug out and moved to another location nearby. That one is being removed from the national registry. Check the information page at geocaching.com about reporting destroyed benchmarks. It's pretty helpful. Snipe33 Quote Link to comment
