+Bernie Brewer
I recently got a new computer, and want to use my Delorme PN-20 with it as I did my old computer. I downloaded the Delorme plug-in for sending caches to my GPS. Actually I downloaded and installed it three times, and the downloading window still says that it can't find the plug-in. Any ideas? Thank in advance. Edit: the plug-in works in IE but not firefox. I checked and it is enabled in firefox, and javascript is enabled, but the plu-in is not forund when I try to use it. +dakboy
DeLorme's plugin is not compatible with Firefox 3.6's updated security model for plugins. They are aware of the issue but have yet to produce a fix for it. You can continue to use IE, or fall back to Firefox 3.5.8. Link to comment

Firefox 3.6 was a no-go with the DeLorme plugin. I rolled back to 3.5.8 and it works fine. From the quick research I did, it looked like DeLorme was not in any sort of huge hurry to fix it. +dakboy
I imagine that they'll have to deliver a new plug-in when the PN-60 comes out, as it's using a different protocol to communicate with the host computer than has been used previously. Link to comment

+deercreekth
I may be completely wrong, but I get the impression that DeLorme's software development isn't done in house. I suspect that this fix and (hopefully) the GPX 1.0.1 fix will roll out in June(or later, depending on when the PN-60 hits the street). Link to comment
+dakboy
They may outsource some things, but they definitely do have developers on-staff based on things they've said on their forums & blog. Link to comment
