Ive been caching for a while and was thinking that is there a more accurate way to mark the coordinates of a cache that I've hidden than the mark waypoint function? The caches ive hidden ive got the coordinates by walking a few feet away from the cache and then going back there and pressing the mark waypoint thing many times. Thanks to anyone who can help me! +StarBrand Posted March 11, 2010 Share Posted March 11, 2010 The best way is to set the unit down on the spot and let it settle down for 5 minutes or so and then "mark" your spot. Walk away about 100 feet and back - let it settle and take another reading. If the two readings are within .002 minutes of each other - call it good. Quote Link to comment
