+fegan
I use the Sight 'N Go feature to project a waypoint (on my 400t). From the Compass screen, press the Left button to access [sight 'N Go]. Rotate to the desired heading and [Lock Direction], then you'll get options to: [set Course], [Project Waypoint] or [Re-Sight]. +Red90
http://garmincolorado.wikispaces.com/Waypo...n%20Colorado%3F There are two ways. The first allows you to project a waypoint from another waypoint if you know the distance and bearing. Goto WhereTo->Waypoint->[select waypoint]->Options->Project Waypoint and enter the distance and bearing. If you want to project a waypoint from your current location Mark a waypoint first and then follow the procedure above. The second way to project a waypoint is to use Sight'N Go. This method allows you project a waypoint by entering a distance and taking a compass bearing. First, goto Others->Compass and calibrate the compass. Once the compass is turned on and calibrated hold the unit horizontal, press Options->Sight'N Go, point the unit in the direction you want to go, select Lock Direction, select Project Waypoint and enter the distance.
