+jazzmonster
It's simple when the hitchhiker is a keyring or similar. I've got a small plastic figure that I would like to use as a hitchhiker. I don't want to drill it (really clumsy, would probably end up with holes through my fingers!) and the only method I can think of is a small zip tie / cable tie. How do you attach yours? +BlueDeuce
I prefer to choose a traveler that I can easily drill or already has some sort of hole in it. Then I attach the dog tag and a homemade (laminated) instruction tag using a 1/16 gauge twisted cable and ferrule. The cable costs bout 26 cents per foot and the ferrules are about 54 cents each. +Gitchee-Gummee
We do as BD showed. Any hardware store, garage door opener cable (don't do the plastic coated stuff) and some crimp-on ferrules. Depending on your hitchhiker, you may not have to drill it.
