As the next cache event I attend will be my 100th* I was wandering who in the UK has attended the most? I think it was once Pengy&Tigger (on 114 at the moment) but have they been overtaken by anyone? Just being curious...

 

*95 'trads', 3 CITOs & 1 Mega thus far.

Mine is 107 events, plus six CITO events and two Mega events.

 

Slowed down a bit these days.

 

Wouldn't say I am very sociable though

Ok, here's another question. Where and when was the UK's first event? This is the oldest one I can find - from June 03 - but I believe there was at least one before this...

That was the 14th Event in the UK.

I'm not quite that competitive. I don't get to as many events as I'd like to. With petrol costing more than its weight in gold and train tickets requiring the handing-over of both an arm and a leg, I have to pick and choose which ones to attend. An example would be the three London events coming up; it would be nice to go to one, better to go to two, but three might be regarded as showing off
