SpaceTravellers
Hi, has logged GCRKW7 as not found a while ago, and a part of the message was encrypted and one part was not. Today looking at the log the whole log was in plain text, a known issue you have? Due to this I thought meanwhile it doesn't work I can put the part to be encrypted in a html-comment so it doesn't show and spoils it for those who aren't interested. So without thinking to much i put a html start and end-tagg in the logg message and made a comment of the part to be out-commented and now the logg history is all f*. Does anyone knows how to fix, can you guys (& girls maybe?) fix this? This is embarissing Link to comment
SpaceTravellers
Got a solution on the Swedish geocaching page: Go to http://www.geocaching.com/my/ press [visit log] then remove the logg, the page will now be turned normal again. Have just performed the actions so is waiting anxiously for an update from GC.com to see the change. Link to comment
SpaceTravellers
The above actions worked perfect! An issue I have found though is that the encryption doesn't work at all (for the moment?) An that html-comments are not possible to do in the logs, but have seen several logs with changed color of the text etc. so it seems that simpler html is allowed? Link to comment
Isonzo Karst
have seen several logs with changed color of the text etc. so it seems that simpler html is allowed? Logs allow some simple BBC code, similar to what is used in these forums, not html. Link to comment
Isonzo Karst
[i]some[/i] [b]BBC[/b] code [s]in a log[/s] [font=Century Gothic]Font fancy[font=Verdana] [red]Font Red[/red] [green]Green[/green] [white]violet[/white] [font=Impact]more font[font=Verdana] That's the code i used to create this log I rarely use it, because the text you see above in the code box is what an email notification of the log looks like, ie, ugly. +Isonzo Karst
I just tried it, using [note] in that log linked above. It just sat there as: [note]comment[/note] I've deleted it. I think the usable BBC code is limited to bold [b] italic [i] strikethrough [s] quote[quote] some fonts ]font=Century Gothic, Comic Sans, Impact etc] some colors [red][blue][white][violet]etc There may be more tags allowed, but those are what I've seen Using [white] will make a comment invisible on the cache page - see that the word "violet" in my log above cannot be seen on the page, unless you highlight it, but it is in the email notification. And the code with the word would come in a .gpx download of the log. Edited January 7, 2010 by Isonzo Karst Link to comment
DeepButi
Use Locus Prime Log Maximizer Greasemonkey script and your life (loging) will be a lot easier. Link to comment
