+Haggis Hunter
This is just a heads up that I got an email for one of my virtual caches, there was what looked like a typo in one of the answers so I looked at the persons profile. Sure enough the person hadn't logged any UK caches. I asked straight out if that person had visited the location and the answer was that it is extremely cold in Berlin, so rather than go out they thought they would try and log some caches from home. Suffice to say I haven't allowed the log, but they may try other caches within the UK. Quote Link to comment
Sandy
You and other concerned virtual cache owners can direct cachers to these forum threads: English-speaking cachers: Couch Potato-Caches (Groundspeak Forum) German-speaking cachers: Couch Potato Caches (Groundspeak's German Forum) The threads explain the guidelines about logging virtual caches and tries to discourage cachers from 'couch potato caching', as it is not in the true spirit of geocaching, and it violates the geocaching.com guidelines.
