how do i find new caches?

ok i'm very new to this but i think i have gotten the hang of it but what i cant find a way to search for newly placed caches. i'd liek to try to be a ftf but so far all i can search for is by location from my home and so far they have all been there since 2002 2005. is ther a way to be notified of newly placed caches? - thanks

If you become a premium member, you can setup notifications to let you know about new cache placements.
