i didn't notice this until yesterday when i placed my first nano and went to set the size and had to label it as other. i wrote in the description that it is a nano but i don't know how many times i have used my iphone to find caches thinking its a bigger cache and take a second look to see that its a nano. I agree this would be a great addition the the website.

wow some of you guys must have hit some target rich areas! i have 18 for the best day my family went to disney and i had one day to cache. so a mont in advance i plotted a route along the main tourist strip.

I do it for the thrill of the hunt doesn't matter what i find. Whats cool to me is that tons of other people have been to the exact same spot and everybody else has no clue. I feel your frustration for wanting to hide cahes, but I think your missing the over all point. be glad you have so many in your area, others aren't so lucky.

something along these lines always come up when i go into full explanation of what geocaching is to a friend or muggle. sometimes they ask, "whats to keep someone from just falsely logging cache finds?" My responce is "nothing if boosting their numbers is all they want to get out of it their missing all the fun, I'm much more happy with my 115 knowing i have 115 separate stories for each cache, than to have 1500 and have no stories to tell." its not a contest sport, its a hobby its a hobby. Cheating at Geocaching is like model rockets without engines, nice to look at on the shelf but not much fun to play with

ok i'm very new to this but i think i have gotten the hang of it but what i cant find a way to search for newly placed caches. i'd liek to try to be a ftf but so far all i can search for is by location from my home and so far they have all been there since 2002 2005. is ther a way to be notified of newly placed caches? - thanks
