Actually, Jo Davis County would be wonderful for snow shoeing or cross country skiing. How would I know. I taught HS in Freeport from 1948 to 1952. Beautiful Country as well and so is Southern Wisconsin. Not sure about Sullivan. My home town is Louisville south of Effingham. I know they say Merry Christmas back there.
