+JGeo
Is it possible to create a button in a Wherigo that takes me to a dialog that enables to enter a value? I want to use input from information obtained on site to calculate the position of the next zone, i.e. by changing a variable, and setting the zone position from that. However, if I want to change the variable (wrong input, for example), I need some 'button' on the screen to go back to the dialog. How could I do that? Or should I use objects to achieve such a thing? * Pick up a pencil triggers a multiple choice dialog * Each choice is a variable * When selecting something, the variable value input dialog is opened * Using the input dialog, a variable is changed, and the coordianates are updated * I drop the pencil Would that work? matejcik
the pencil example is a good way to solve this. another way to do it is to have a "notebook" object in the inventory, and that would have a command to change each variable, which would trigger the corresponding input dialog. or place a character in the zone and make the player "tell" the character the solution - which the player can do many times over if they decide to change their answer. mostly depends on your theme.
