+thelifeguard
I am a relative newbie, introduced recently by a friend who is also somewhat new (approaching 100 finds). Are there any of you in the area ranging from Fairmont to Radium who are interested in an informal get-together to explore possibilities for increasing our enjoyment of geocaching in this area? 7rxc
I am a relative newbie, introduced recently by a friend who is also somewhat new (approaching 100 finds). Are there any of you in the area ranging from Fairmont to Radium who are interested in an informal get-together to explore possibilities for increasing our enjoyment of geocaching in this area? Answer is yes and no... I'm close, but there are some mountains in the way... Nice to meet you though. Might be able someday to do some half way... I'm working on the EV / Cranbrook area... I have a few solved puzzles, but my other half isn't keen on walking the mountains very far to go FIND them and I dislike doing the solo thing... Winter is set in mostly over here or working on it... I don't know if you are referring to the group from Cranbrook (based) but they are still around and cacheing. The website has fizzled a bit and most now use the BC website and GS / GC sites. Did you see the Kootenay section on the geocacheBC ( or whatever it is site). By all means let me know if you are coming over to the EV or area... There are also a few 'regular' events in the Kootenays as well. Doug 7rxc Quote Link to comment
