+iphone.cachers
So, while in Cleveland on a geocaching trip, I found the following on a concret slab near the river. What is this? If a benchmark, any reason why I cannot find it in the database? http://lh6.ggpht.com/_n0jRSLvTmQc/SvrMXRoK...00/IMG_0305.JPG I found it here: Latitude: 41.495499° N Longitude: 81.701836° W Edited November 11, 2009 by 1mpinney1 Quote Link to comment
+Black Dog Trackers
Hi 1mpinney1 - That is a U.S. Army Corps. of Engineers survey mark. It is one of thousands of benchmarks not included in the benchmarks database. You can read about that here in the benchmark hunting FAQ page. Quote Link to comment
Z15
You will find these marks around a lot of Corps of Engineers projects, mainly involving water. Many have no information available on them that can be found, they are mostly local project data. Edited November 12, 2009 by Z15 Quote Link to comment
