xxmurdockxx Posted October 26, 2009 Share Posted October 26, 2009 Hi Everybody, take a look on our new Coin The first Augsburg Geocoin On the quest for a fitting theme for a coin from Augsburg, the Kasperle (a character from the famous “Augsburger Puppenkiste”) was caught on a nightcache. He seems to be an enthusiastic Geocacher, too. That’s exactly what we need. What do you tie together with Augsburg? … a “Mozartkugel” or the “Augsburger Puppenkiste” After the clearance of the factual and legal position, the way to the coin was cleared. Kasperle told us in an interview, that he was totally attired by the finished coin. Front side: original character of the “Puppenkiste”, as well as the crest of Augsburg. Beside that, the coordinates and the Silhouette of the Rathausplatz. Backside: The Kasperle of the “Augsburger Puppenkiste” while caching. The light of the flashlight is glowing in the dark. The Silhouette of the Rathausplatz with the typical Cacherlatein from Augsburg. We are very pleased that the city of Augsburg as well as „Augsburger Puppenkiste“ officially permitted us the edition up to 300 pieces. So this coin is a real LE.
